Costa Plaza will be the growing city of Guayaquil's newest retail destination when it opens in late 2023. In a city with few welcoming public gathering spaces, Costa Plaza will offer a multi-level oasis-like environment featuring ample landscaping and shade structures to mitigate the tropical environment. A 10,000 sf food hall featuring local and national tenants will be one of the project's main attractions.

Forum Cuernavaca

Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico

Forum Cuernavaca is a 60,000 m2 outdoor lifestyle fashion/outlet hybrid center located in Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico, an hour south of Mexico City. In addition to retail and entertainment offerings, the project has been planned to accommodate future residential and hospitality uses. The site features existing steel and concrete buildings formerly used as a garment factory. The design incorporates these buildings by cutting open-air paseos through them to create a series of interconnected outdoor shopping areas. A below grade parking structure with room for 2,000 cars provides ample and convenient parking for the project.

The project is the recipient of a 2018 ICSC Latin American Award for Design and Development Excellence.

Alhambra Mall is an existing multi-level retail mall located in Guayaquil’s upscale Samborondon neighborhood.  The owner was able to purchase an adjacent parcel of land, and Field Paoli was tasked with designing 6 levels of parking, 3 floors of office and rooftop padel and pickleball courts – the first such facility in Ecuador.  The expansion is slated to open in the fall of 2026.
