Who We Are: Social at Every Scale
We believe in the power of public spaces - to foster sociability, draw people out, and inspire them to engage with the world and those around them.
From intimate courtyards and neighborhood restaurants to university campuses, grocery-anchored retail centers, and bustling urban districts, our work transforms everyday settings into vibrant, equitable, sustainable hubs where people share meaningful experiences
As a creative team of architects, designers, and planners, we shape places to spark connection, belonging, and joy, and are committed to mentoring the next generation of designers - empowering them to lead with empathy, curiosity, and social purpose.
Meet the Principals
Maureen O'Neil
Maureen keeps the Field Paoli ship on course, leading the firm’s logistics—she wears numerous hats, ranging from HR to administration to finance. An invaluable member of the team since 1997, she has grown alongside the company from the early days with our founders. She has created her own path of growth and development by jumping in and mastering her ever-evolving role and honing her skills in practice. Her magic is in her big picture understanding of the organization, paired with her keen ability to keep a pulse on the finer details. Not just a number cruncher but also an expert party planner—Maureen is known her for both her unparalleled Excel expertise and her spot-on wine recommendations.
If you’re curious about Mo’orea, the stunning French Polynesian island Maureen visits with her partner bi-annually, she will happily sit down with you and share stories and recommendations from her travels.
